Hi, I have few questions to ask about
When it asks about the centrelink benefits, I have both youth allowance and family tax benefit, but the family tax benefits is what my mom recieves, so I can only tick the youth allowance and put in my CRN number?
And about category:1
It says: 21 years of age or older by 1 January 2012 if applying for Higher Education courses or courses at independent tertiary colleges
Does it mean that you have to be 21 years old before 1 January 2012? or turning 21 in 2012, like in july?
-
To be classified as mature age you need to be 21 years or older by 1 January 2012, just like it says. 21 in July doesn't count.

Can anyone tell me what is the likelihood of a person with both youth allowance and a parent receiving family tax benefit being successful in a SEAS application? Also, how do we know if we are successful?

There's no measure on whether or not you've been "successful" per se, but rather a ranking. If you've done everything that you are required to including sending it documentation, providing supporting statements than VTAC will assign a ranking similar to that of low, medium and high based on how your disadvantage has impacted on your education. That ranking is then forwarded to all institutions that you have applied for and the institutions will use that and take that into consideration.

I'm pretty sure you get them before your ATAR scores are released
