Hey,
Just wondering if anyone out there has maybe a specific document that has all the formulas that are needed to be remembered for the tech free exam. This obviously doesn't include everything on the formula sheet, but things like general solutions and steady state formulas I'm just a little unsure of exactly what I will need to remember in that respect for the tech free paper.
Thanks :)

everything except the stuff on the formula sheet?...
and yes, it is very likely there will be at least one question requiring general solutions

Yeah thanks, I know that obviously! Just if there's any other specific ones like general solutions formulas that you have to remember... and yeah I've come across quite a few of those questions in the praccys

general solutions in Exam 1? I've seen them in exam 2, but do they also appear in exam 1?

Yep, they're doable by hand so probably best to know the general formulas
Also I guess it's best to know the ones we learnt years ago, ie distance between two points, quadratic formula etc.

yeah definately those formulas. I just did the vcaa 2007 today exam 1 and it required dist between two points which I had forgotten. Thankfully, it can pretty much be derived from pythagoras :)

For X~Bi(n,p)
E(X)=np
Var(X)=npq=np(1-p)
