just did an tssm exam for accounting and it was bad with mistakes n all. Are they all like that?
any other commercial brands i should be avoiding?
cheers
-
I thought TSSM methods was pretty good...
could just be accounting
-
Shocking for Psych
-
For biology they are pretty bad but not the worst.
Chemology is so shocking for biology it's not funny
Though it is The Specialised School of Mathematics, so you could safely assume their math exams are better
-
Their spesh papers are quite good and I would assume methods are of a similar quality.
-
I bought their thick revision booklet for Psych at the Age expo earlier in the year and it is absolutely horrendous.
-
agreed monkey.. that book is absolutely SHOCKING. No offence but it's full of bad grammatical errors, I'm pretty sure a fob wrote it -_-
-
They arent great for science subjects, but i think theyre decent for maths.
-
i really like them for health! i was actually gonna buy another this week :)
i did a 12 wk course with them for health - was good coz it was a tiny group compared to tsfx hahaha - only 5 people! except 1 of the 12 wks hardly counted coz it was a vce success lecture -.-
-
Haven't had a lot of experience with the company, but generally the English TSSM papers are of a reasonable quality.
-
i actually enjoy them for methods and chem
there are worse out there....
-
Absolutely terrible for accounting. I bought their accounting exam online and they emailed me one from the old study design (2006). Waste of money :(
-
Some of their solutions have errors though, eg TSSM Methods 2007
-
yeah chems alright, but for psych........
-
Hey just wondering when is the expo for next year?accurate time/date coz i know it's probs around May or June.
Btw does the expo really sell stuff like books, notes(just hear from someone)...
-
Only good for maths imo
-
TSSM= maths specialist
but I mean when is the 2012 expo again since someone mentions in this thread.
