Really restricting in my opinion..
I felt it was geared more towards creative pieces. Even working through practice prompts in the lead up, I saw nothing remotely similar :(
How'd you find it?

I used the most irrelevant quotes I could think of
"Question reality especially when it contradicts the evidence of your hopes and dreams." (Brault)
"An error does not become truth by reason of multiple propagation, nor does truth become error because no one sees it." (Gandhi)
I'm pretty sure I linked them back to the idea of shared experiences somehow LOL

What texts did you guys write it on?
I had to choose between ASND and Spies, I chose Spies

I thought it was exceptional for imaginative (which is what I wrote)

I liked it, but ran out of time. Do you reckon a 500 word essay can still get a 6?

I reckon you can as long as it was good stuff you were writing ^^

Was extremely limiting, I tweaked it so it became a ramble about memory, not necessarily 'shared'

Loved the prompt :)

Did an imaginary/expos hybrid, same one I got A+ for in a SAC. Hoping for 8+/10 :)

didnt do "shared" so i am so screwed, have u read all the comments from previous years, "those who did not adress the prompt did not score very well" then they were saying something about a beautiful insightful piece that could only be given a 6 because there wasnt a strong enough link

the prompt restricted half of my intended external material, but it was similar to my ASND SAC which i scored 46/50 for so I just rephrased what I wrote there to fit in with the prompt and modernise it. one of the guys in my cohort who was/is a contender for a 50 said it was challenging. though we all shared the same experience of doing this prompt, how we saw it differed.

Fantastic prompt - Allowed for full exploration of my ideas and concepts and suited my expository/creative hybrid perfectly.

OMG I hated this prompt, ended up writing some random shit. On top of that I had a very bizzareeeeee external example for this.
