What do you guys reckon A+ cut off will be this year. Personlly i thought this exam was way harder than previous years. 35-35.5/40 Hopefully? :)
-
i got 37/40, should i be okay with this?

Yeah I would reckon you would be safe. Thats the usual cut off and this exam i reckon was much harder than usual
-
34~35
-
I reckon there will be heaps of questions where under 50% of state got it wrong in comparison to other years
-
what do you mean by cut off?
-
Cut off = the lowest score possible to receive an A+ for the exam. e.g. 35/40 is an A+, 34/40 is an A.
-
thanks i was just checking! i hope the cut off is low then so our marks go up ;)
-
According to iTute's answers, I got 39/40, I should definitely be getting an A+ right? Ughh such a stupid mistake, I got question 2 in the core wrong -.-

Yeah, I'm hoping a lot of people did terribly, so my 38/40 and hopefully 60/60 will get me a 49

Yes, if the A+ cut off was 40/40, I'd probably shit my pants, you have definitely gotten an A+.
-
Also, if I get A+ in both the exams, and I have full marks in all my sacs, will that mean about a 49 for me? Even if I lose marks in the exams?
-
if i get 37/40 and maybe... 56/60 what would I get?

Nope, to get a 50, you're looking at losing basically 1 mark maximum if this year goes pretty poorly on the exams, considering an A+ in exam 1 last year was 36/40, Getting A+'s in both exams, won't guarantee a 49-50.

Probably 41-44 RAW?

Last Year girl got 50 at our school losing one mark in second exam.
-
cut off usually 37-36 so as this is harder i say 36- 35

Which reinforces what I said, that you can only lose a maximum of 1 mark. From rebeckab's wording, asking that if she got an A+ (any score that gets her an A+), will she be guaranteed a 49-50, in which case I said no, due to the cut offs for A+'s potentially being around 36, resulting in a maximum of 4 lost marks in 1 exam alone.

Can someone please predict me a study score.
Be brutally honest

~37-42 Depending on your A-A+. if its A+ plus around 40

What would double A+'s get you then? IIRC, double A+'s only guaranteed about a 40+ for Methods..Don't know how it differs to Further though.

I reckon majority of the state mucked up core q 12 and I guess I can't say much else since we all do different modules
-
So whats the maximum possible study score I could get if I got 36-37/40 for exam 1 and 60/60 for exam 2.
-
Could someone help me please:
If I got a 33 in exam 1 and 57 in exam 2 and I have an A in sac what will be my study score

~37-39

hey guys,
if I got an overall SAC percentage of 94 and a 35/40 in exam 1, how much would I need in exam 2 to secure a 40 above scaled score?

A+ cut off is ~53/60. since u lost 5 marks on the first exam (~2 marks below an A+), you'll need at least a 55/60 to get above 40
-
thanks for that!

Can someone reply to my post please?

well if i assume your sacs is close to 100% then probs 45-47
-
I'm not sure how sac marks work because from what I've heard, your sac marks can increase If you perform well in your exam. But if someone gets 100% for both exams and is ranked 30/100 will it ruin his chances of getting a 50?
-
yeah sort of. Unless all those 30 are full marks. To get 50 you pretty much have a one mark leway in all assessments
