Title: Cohort Question

If im rank 1 (or equal first) in a rather weak cohort how much is it likely to affect my result? I got an A+ on the midyear and looking to get an A+ again...but lots of kids at my school got Cs and Ds over the two classes (with a total of 4 getting either A+ or an A)
