CE have got the solutions up, whattya looking at now?
-
108/120, enough for 40?

108/120, enough for 40?
Honestly, not sure. I'd probably say that given the difficulty of both papers, no-one got 100% on both. And the general consensus is that A+ cut-offs will be a bit lower for each paper, so I gonna say yes for your case :)
-
I'm looking at + or - 2 105. = D
Hoping for 40 but not all that optimistic.
-
im looking at the solutions and the MAX is probs 118/120
but realistically about 115/120..
get me 45+?
-
looking at 109/120, hbu pi?

Easily! Those are beast scores!
looking at 109/120, hbu pi?
Similar, 111-113/120 (depends on how harsh the marking is)
(also, I can't remember one answer I got, so I took 3/3 off for it :()
-
120/120 max
Maybe lost 1 or 2 for random bullshit
-
if i got a 32/40 for exam one and 55/80 for exam 2 with a B+ for sacs what study score am i looking at ?

Teach me your moves, good sir.
-
14/120. :(
-
107... what would that get me?...Enough for 40?
(Ranked second in the cohort in SACs)
-
Looking at the poll, no-one would of guessed this was a particularly "hard" set of exam :o
I'm scared now...
-
108/120. Enough for 40 raw???

maybe 112 - 115/120?
What's 112/120 for a study score with strong sacs?
-
Rohit, I'm pretty sure you can get 30+ with those scores mate =p
-
115/120 worst case scenario
potentially 119/120 but realistically 117/120
-
mmmm probably 112-110, fml I hate silly errors.

I hope you're right... I'd be over the moon if I get 40 raw in my opinion.
-
i find this beyond depressing
-
is the general idea that you need a 110/120 to get 40+?
-
surely not
I'd say 108+?
-
i'm really really really really hoping that it's a lot lower that 110.....
-
I'm hoping 107/120 for 40 raw. I got 108.
-
what do you reckon the mean score out of 120 will be this year? and this corresponds to a C+ right?
-
i think it will be 106/107+ to get into the 40s
-
97/120 anyone ?
hoping for a 35 !
-
I think realistically around 114-115, possibly 116 :). Good enough for 45?
-
mmm sorry but why is it out of 120?
-
I might seem stupid, but where'd you get the /120 from?
Haha mickey you beat me too it
edit dw i see it now 80+40
-
I actually think this year 100/102 is 40. Purely because, whilst some upper echelon students mainly VN found the exam so-so/ doable/no different to last year. The majority average students in the state found the exams quite tough and teachers I've talked to said the exam was probably harder. So chances are the cut offs will be lower, but at the end of the day SAC ranking will come in play.

Definitely, SACs still play a big part, 34% to be exact. The state average would be lower this year and would hopefully push the cutoffs down so 100/120 seems possible

me too :(

Exam 1 score out of 40 plus exam 2 score out of 80.
-
sac: a (average cohort)
exam 1: 31/40
exam 2: between 69-71 /80
overall: 100-102 /120
can anyone predict my study score?
pleaseee 40+ (fingers crossed)
-
sigh, flunked in both my exams, what study score am I looking at with 104/120
-
112/120 with mid A+ sacs
-
mmm sorry but why is it out of 120?
Total score from both exams. Exam 1=40 marks, Exam 2=80 marks.
-
1/120? If I'm really lucky and they're generous 2/120.
Sigh...
-
Too afraid to look at exam 2 solutions :/.
So far:
Sacs: mid to high A+ (average cohort)
Exam 1: 36/40
Exam 2: Hopefully A or A+ whatever that is.
Any chance of 40 raw?
-
Can someone tell me, what do you guys think of my handwriting? legible? lol :P
-
Its beautiful. 8)

why would rohit be aiming for 30+ when he estimates (conservatively) at around 112.

It's always a much nicer surprise finding out you did better than you were aiming for than finding out you did worse.

Exactly :)

that poll makes me even more depressed :( i'll say 105 give or take 3 marks :/
anywho, my teacher is an examiner and said that they were told to give marks where ever possible!!!!
i hope i get a lot of free method marks......
