Oh God - How could they be so sloppy? Surely someone from VCAA would have figured that eventually she's going to find out they used her article without her permission...

Technically they're not required to ask for permission

I've just noticed VCAA has now placed an apology on their website: http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/index.html

In short, they apologise for not acknowledging her moral rights, and for failing to correctly attribute and editing the article without her permission.
