for ppl doing that, how many days do you go to uni?

I know two people (well, there are a bunch of people doing that major combo, but I actually remember these people's days) who only go to uni three days a week.

awesome :D :D :D :D

I got 4, Wednesdays off. How would you get only 3? Ninja timetabling skills most likely.
-
I have 3 days off and I do Acc/Fin. :)
but I come from montrash so ye :(
-
Nope. I asked the first one how she managed to do that, and apparently that's what she was given (I was given five days at the start, lol). It can't be that hard to do with ~12 hours. The other one has the same amount of hours as me, but she gets Wednesdays and Fridays off.
3 days off? ahahahahahahahaha. :(
-
LOL I MEAN I ONLY GO ON 3 DAYS. Sorry :P

Lol, Prav... ::)
Which days do u get off?
Most Monash students get Friday off, I've noticed.
-
I was going to say.. 6 hours a day. I'm gonna be aiming for 3 next sem. It all depends on lectures, though.
Friday seems to be pretty common. I have that day off cos it, along with Wednesday, are the only days that there aren't any lectures. I can't take Wednesday off because it would make Tuesday death (I mean, even more so).

Mm? I don't remember seeing ur timetable... u've got a pretty full-on Tuesday then?
I only have 10.5 hours a week - 4 hours Jap, 3 hours Macro, 3.5 hours AccFin.

I can't remember if I posted my most recent one here, but here it is.

I'm gonna try and add some more gaps next semester as well.
Japanese? What level are you doing (you probably have different naming conventions at Monash, but are you doing second year Japanese)?

Oh... yeah... ouch.
Some ppl like 2 cram their classes all 2gether so they can get it ova with sooner and go home, but I like 2 have gaps b/w classes if I can help it.
Umm, I'm doing 1st year Jap.
We have naming conventions kinda like VCE.
Weird course codes aside, Jap1 = 1st year, 1st semester; Jap2 = 1st year, 2nd semester; Jap3 = 2nd year, 1st semester; etc.
-
Yeah, that's why I wanted no gaps. Now I'd rather have gaps than dying halfway through five hours in a row.
-
Hm champorado weren't you planning on majoring in marketing and economics? Why the change of heart if you don't mind me asking?
(Sorry for going off topic).
-
This is the course outline I posted a while ago.
There's always honours to better your understanding if you've only done minimal subjects in an area.
I've looked at my 'course outline' again, and I've done some rearranging. I've managed to cram it all into 3.5 years.

A bit silly since the subjects will probably change (the semesters they're offered in, or what have you), but it's nice to know it won't take the 4 years I initially thought it would. The honours thing lumps together marketing and management, so I wouldn't want to do that. Who knows, I might end up hating accounting, or marketing, or japanese and major in eco/finance or something, but I suppose that's what semester 1 is for. :)
squance, iirc, on that lms site, it said the new subjects would go up on the 23rd.
To be honest, Economics is my favourite commerce subject right now. I've had 1000 word assessments for each already, and Economics has been the easiest to do (it still wasn't easy for me, but in comparison to the other two, it was). I don't like the accounting lecturer, and for each assessment I've done (the various dmts and the first assignment), I've failed miserably. But for some reason, I still haven't decided to just drop it. Oh yeah, now I remember why. I fail at maths.
If you were talking about my sig, I'm just being facetious. :p I'll figure out my major(s) by the end of this year (hopefully).

YES SUCK ON THAT UNIMELB. HOPE YOU CRASH AND BURN FUCKERS HAHAAH

Haha, I just found that thread. I know what apple's 'that' was in reference to. What's yours?

What are you on about?

What do you mean by this?

Oh. Well, I figured AppleXY's 'suck on that' was in reference to the post directly before his, which was talking about Melbourne's popularity. Since my post was directly before yours, I was wondering what you were talking about (what's yours = what your 'suck on that' was for?).

Ok then?

champorado,
are you doing hons in 3.5 years??
I thought hons were only given to students that have already done 3rd year; and must be selected later on
-
It's not honours. It's a BCom with a concurrent DipLang. Depending on how I use my breadth, the duration of my study might be 3.5 or 4 years. I doubt I could get into honours, lol.

fuck you vce09. fuck u.
@Fyrefly, I get Tuesday and Friday off :D
I don't feel like doing a Acc + fin combo anymore, econ + fin is just so fun :P [I only really did acc because of job security, but they don't get that much security as well nowadays]
