Whaaaat? How does this work. I'm not going to get an inspection, just interested

Anyone else?

I've heard of it being successful, an international studies student who got their score changed from 44 --> 46
-
Can it work against you? 40--> 37?
-
I've heard of someone whose examiners missed a whole page, left out 10 marks that he'd gotten :O
-

No, it can only work upwards

Really? So if i get 40 and it was really 30 they can't do anything about it?

In that case, we can get an examination inspection for all our subjects and hope for the best? What are the chances of it changing?

Very low (as in it won't happen). Also, applying for a remark is not the same thing as an inspection of script.

According to one of the senior teachers from my school, only a very small number of students have ever managed to scrape a few extra marks on their VCAA exams. Unless your ATAR is marginally below the cut-off for your desired course, I honestly don't believe the effort is worth it; especially if it's for prestige's sake...

How do you apply for a remark? Must you inspect the script first?
