Post by: matthewlesh on December 20, 2011, 12:57:14 am
Here's the list of high achievers 2011:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArXq6jGEiIiRdGNGelRsT2ZzNnZlcnRwckx4WVZocUE

All information is copyright VCAA, this document has been downloaded from http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/in-a-class-of-their-own-alternative-rhythms-of-the-bright-20111219-1p2jj.html, reformatted and than uploaded as raw data.

Edit: Here's a link to their search function, http://www.theage.com.au/national/tertiary-high-achievers.

Thank you, The Age's layout seems inferior to the Herald Sun's search function.

"Methodist Ladies College students Rachael van Ryn and Olivia Marshall, who were the only students in the state to achieve the perfect score in hospitality and hospitality: kitchen operations respectively."

They certainly won't have any trouble finding a husband.

woooh equal-2nd highest score at my school for French.

Also, the year 11s didn't pull their weight. I expect my school's ranking to drop back down to normal levels next year.

We get a chance to choose to release our study scores to the public in year 12 again, right?

Cheers Matty, is there any search functions out there? If not... it's becoming harder and harder to be a stalker.

If you go to the link provided and go to View>List view you can then change Columns D and E to show scores for specific schools and subjects. Makes all stalking purposes some what easier! ;)

I'm like 99% sure that either MHS admin is completely lost (very likely) or HS is lost as well (also likely). Many people i know including myself scored >40 and signed release clause but not on the list

Yeah I think it's fair to assume that MHS ballsed up... I was pretty sure I signed the release too!

The only mhs year 11s that I can see are those who did 3/4s in year 10 as well...

Or you could just go Ctr+ F and type whatever/who ever you want to find.

I'm pissed. For some of these subjects I should have been up there, judging by the people who did make it to 40+ and my marks throughout the year compared to theirs. Stupid exams.

Argh.

MHS had 728 40+ scores published last year and only 565 this year, which suggests something went wrong (still beat MacRob, though).

EDIT: Also it appears my school had 8 40+ scores this year. Believe it or not but that's one of the best years to date!!

Yep 41 raw should be under 41 in that subject...unless you didn't tick your name to be in the paper at the start of the year?

http://www.theage.com.au/national/tertiary-high-achievers

You can put anything into that one^
Name
School
Subjects
Study Scores
Any keyword

Would they ever release a list of people according to their ATAR? Like above 90, 95 or 99?

I guess the http://www.quppa.net/studyscores/ one would be the closest thing we have to something like that, there's an "All Students, Sorted by Total Scores" file in there.
