Hey guys - I put Commerce/Law as my first pref, but I never applied for any scholarships until I got my ATAR because I was expecting to get below 95... it was a pretty stupid move on my behalf because I got 99.60 =.="""
Monash sent me an invitation by email on the day I got my ATAR, inviting me to make a late scholarship submission and I already did.. what are my chances of getting a merit scholarship? There's a whole monash site on late scholarship submissions and stuff.. some of my friends who applied in august/october already got calls though.. :(
http://www.adm.monash.edu.au/scholarships/applications.html
I was wondering if anyone succesfully got a late scholarship and when do they actually start notifying/offering you the late ones.. the closing date for late scholarships is 21 Dec (one more day). I applied on the day I got my ATAR.
cheers

AFAIK, scholarships for law on merit are usually 99.80+

If you have financial disadvantage (eg. Centrelink and Youth Allowance), you can get into a Law degree with a 94 through the Access Monash Scholars - it comes with a one-off $1,000 bursary payment.

nah I knew someone who got it with a 98.85
-
Definitely no one got it purely on merit for 98.85, that's the Merit and Equity scholarship, where they fall under one of Monash's loose disadvantaged categories.
Law faculty scholarships (comm/law) are 99.8+ in general
highly suspect <95 ATAR prediction with those year 11 study scores though haha, terrible form
