one with laughter and emotion, tears of pain, tears of joy one thing nothing can destroy,Is our pride, deep inside.
any suggestions?

Well, my friend is watching World's Strictest Parents right now and relaying the story to me through skype. Don't watch that show, it sucks. /shit advice
Watch community, top gear, fringe, breaking bad, etc.

My List would be TBBT, Community, Top Gear, HIMYM and old Seinfeld Eps. (Scrubs is on there too).
EDIT: TBBT is number 1 for me, with Community a VERY close second.
-
started breaking bad, but no comedy in it so im looking elsewhere.
plus it reminds me of chemistry LOL.
might start community
isnt top gear a car show, thats a nono
-
Top Gear is a car show, it is awesome tho :P The Big Bang Theory is good, Modern Family there are others....
-
started breaking bad, but no comedy in it so im looking elsewhere.

We need to save Community btw, the first couple of eps were a bit off but it picks up after that, and we can't get enough of Abed and Troy.
Top Gear is not just a car show, it's fricken hilarious, watch the challengers bit of each episode and you'll see what I mean.
EDIT: You will understand what my school is on the left side of the page if you watch Community :P

yea abed is great.
i've seen a few community eps in fact, quite liked it. But where's the drama!
I guess there is no show quite like scrubs (if there is please do share. no grey's anatomy plz)
nonetheless community is funny as hell, can't believe i forgot about it
uh, top gear.. lets just put that aside in the 'nono list' along with TBBT and HIMYM and the fringe and ellen :)
-
I haven't seen scrubs but Chuck is hillarious! Maybe you should try it.

Drama? Did you see the Glee-rip off ep of Community? And whats wrong with TBBT??????
-
Why not top gear? What do you have against trying it?
-
Drama? Did you see the Glee-rip off ep of Community? And whats wrong with TBBT??????
oh, na i haven't seen Glee before. TBBT was alright at first, but then, just like HIMYM it got way too repetitive..
Were you trying to say Community does have drama? I've only seen like a few random eps, maybe i was too quick to judge!
Community it is..
heard a lot about chuck recently, will give that a look
Why not top gear? What do you have against trying it?
whenever i try new things at a restaurant i am thoroughly disappointed :(
na but, its not exactly the type of show im looking for. it's 'real' not fictional.
and the stig looks like a clone trooper from star wars, and i dont like star wars o.o
and no fringe because it looks scary

I wasn't saying Glee (I DON'T WATCH GLEE), Community did a kinda of parody ep of Glee in the current last episode. And how is TBBT repititive, if you call TBBT repititive then EVERY single sitcom in history is repetitive (which when you think about it they are).
-
'Friends'
-
'Friends'
OMFG I FORGOT FRIENDS!
EDIT: Ok maybe going a little overboard now and showing my sitcom addict side.
-

oh right, na i haven't seen it
lol, you just answered your own question then! yea, no sitcoms not a big fan of them!
community added to liszt
-
And revenge isn't comedy but it's got totally good revenge!
-
"TROY AND ABED IN THE MORNING!" :)
-
Modern Family ftw :)
-
Dexter // Rules of Engagement are awesome.
Also Suits was really interesting and I enjoy watching Merlin
-
Suits.
-
Community, the big bang, two and a half men, etc.
-
Most of the shows (the sitcoms) in this list are pretty good -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8i7u3fl-hP8
-
Psych
Freddie
:)
-
I'm watching Rush Hour 3 ATM [/useless contribution] :)
But Top Gear UK (not Aus or US) is epic!!
-
Suits.
my good god, suits is a good show.
I want to be harvey spectre, he emanates suave
-
+1 for Psych, quality show.
-
BREAKING BAD
That is all
-
Suits.
my good god, suits is a good show.
I want to be harvey spectre, he emanates suave
have to wholeheartedly second this, suits is awesome, but just keeps on reminds me why i don't ever want to/would be really crap as a corporate lawyer :P
Psych which has also been mentioned twice is pretty awesome
You should also try white collar, really getting into it myself, just ripped through the third season yesterday haha
-
harry's law.
For some reason, the old
lady cracks me up.

Haha watching suits was the reason why law was taken off my preferences :P
-
Nacho you need to add a poll!
-
Chuck, Terra Nova and The office (US) :)
-
I also rate Doc Martin highly.
-
Top Gear is the bomb. That is all.
Alright, thats not really all, I can never stop a dialogue at 8 words.
If you want to watch an asian hottie chick kick-ass, I have one word for you: Nikita.
I watched the 1 and 1/2 seasons that have been aired so far in about 2 weeks. I dreamt about kicking ass and being a cover government assassin for about half that time.
-
Seinfeld.
-
Chuck, Terra Nova and The office (US) :)
Terra Nova is shiet :P it's so predictable
I recommend how I met your mother. never use to watch it, but now i do and it's so funny!
-

US isn't so bad, it's gotten better over the last season or so - mostly cos it doesn't try to be the UK version, whereas the Aussie version tries hard and fails hard. The US version also gets better celebrities (for obvious reasons). The UK version's gotten a little bit stale, (still awesome though). I'd say the newer US episodes are worth watching as well.
-
LOL pshh who the hell are the dudes on the Aus version anyway? I only knew whats-his-face Kenny the toilet man, and even now he's boring because you cant bag him for being fat.
They're lines/jokes are lame, I cant believe it went for 1 season let alone 2. Which idiot keeps signing them on?
UK Top Gear, in conclusion, is the best. You dont necessarily have to be a car lover, I can say I am, but I have some sort of lame knowledge, but either way, they're fucking hilarious regardless of how much you know about cars.
I just LOL everytime James opens his mouth, and especially when he says..."Oh cock!"
-
A range of different genres:
White Collar
Criminal Minds
Burn Notice
Vampire Diaries
Supernatural
JAG
BONES
Castle

I am currently watching an older series called 'QI', short for 'Quite Interesting'. It is a panelist talk-show by BBC. If you don't mind the British accent and some British humor, it is amazing. You learn the most random stuff.
One of the few TV shows where you feel entertained enough you want to watch more, and you also feel smarter by the end of it.
-
Nacho you need to add a poll!
done
also,
opinions on "the office"?
I saw one episode where some guy is like
"is it me, or does it smell like up dog in here"
"whats up dog"
"nothing much man, whats up with you"
That was easily the funniest 3 lines ever.
But im confused, theres like american and british versions or something? which is the good one, the one i got this line from?
If you want to watch an asian hottie chick kick-ass, I have one word for you: Nikita.
lol never found her to be 'hot'

Are you serious. Maggie Q. Not hot.
What planet are you on.
I would turn lesbian for that girl.

That was in the US office (season 1??), which I think is much better. The US version also has plenty more episodes, its in its 8th season. They're both a good laugh though.
-
Nacho, you are crazy!
That girl could kick your ass inside out.
-

That girl could kick your ass inside out.
not with all that botox pulling her back lmao
i could like throw sour cream in her eyes and she wouldn't be able to blink
>> (sour cream because i am the nacho man)
-
Ahaha She was trained by Jackie Chan and knows like a billion martial arts styles. She does all her stunts and fight scenes by herself.
If she aint no ninja, I dont know who is!
A girl that can kick ass is hot.
-
stunts and fight scenes is all choreography
anyone can dance, fighting is a whole different thing
-
Haven't been through this thread, but I'd recommend Community and Big Bang Theory :D
-

-
Here are some of my favourites:
•Dexter
•The Sopranos
•Deadwood
•Boardwalk Empire
•Breaking Bad
•30 Rock
•Seinfeld
•Arrested Development

-
Fresh Prince of Bel Air!
Freaks and Geeks is also awesome..
Oh and that 70s Show for sure
-
SUITS
-
The Big Bang Theory is the best, hands down.
-
I honestly don't understand how people find big bang theory funny.
It is the same shit over and over and over again. i.e. someone says something soically awkward or nerdy and we laugh.
watch suits
-

It was good at the start when it was actual 'nerd' humour but then it got excessively mainstream and now relies on the stuff that you've said there. I'd second Suits and Community as well.
-
The IT Crowd
-
The IT Crowd
I second this motion! The IT crowd is awesome (if you can deal with weird British humour/low-budget productions)
-
Black books, for those of you into the whole British comedy stuff. Absolute genius of a show with brilliant acting.
-
the huge downside about UK shows are that the only have 6-8 eps per season and only last for 3 seasons..
-
inbetweeners a prime example
in betweeners only lasted that long, beacuse of the cast.
IT would look fucked if three 20 somethings were playing hihgschoolers
-
Has anyone here seen Fawlty Towers? One of my favourite shows from the UK although it's a tad dated1
1:Actually it's really old, like monty python old2
2:Considering that John Cleese is in both of them, it makes sense
-

Why the size 1 font? ???
But YES! Amazing show, despite being old. The ep with the Germans is my favourite.
-
My current watch list.
Allen Gregory
American Dad
Family Guy
How I Met Your Mother
Modern Family
Raising Hope
The Big Bang Theory
The Cleeveland Show
Been getting into a lot of the old stuff (mostlt sitcoms) that are on 7Mate during the day.
On my to-watch list (so far).
Bones (from the beginning)
Rules Of Engagement (from the beginning)
I watch a ton of other crap too, but the shows on my 'watch list' are shows I watch every episode (or close to that) of.
Oh and if you're after the most EPIC show I've ever watched in my whole entire existence - FlashForward. But be warned, it has the shittest ending of any TV series I have ever seen. I was so pissed (and still am) that ABC America stopped production. Saddest day of my life.
-
Whatever you do, DO NOT watch Star Trek. Saw an episode last week, biggest BS ever. You've been warned.
-
the huge downside about UK shows are that the only have 6-8 eps per season and only last for 3 seasons..
The downside of UK shows is that quite a few of the shows are mindnumbingly dry and also inaccessible due to its obscure British culture references. The upside to this is that if you do get it, it runs all American comedy into the ground.
Also, 3 seasons is more than enough. Most shows get horrible after the first (or second).
-
Has anyone seen Goodness Gracious Me? It's an old-ish Brit/Indian comedy, very funny imo. Fits into david10d's above quote, only has 5 eps in the first season!
-
Going with the indian theme, OUTSOURCED.
dunno how its a theme, really
-

1 look at their ridiculous haircuts and oversized textured foreheads is enough !
dislike brit comedy to the max (talking about oldies shows like fawlty towers)
Although i enjoyed Kumars at no 42 - exception.

lol yea this is actually pretty funny
who wants a taste of gupta lmao
Moderator action: removed real name, sorry for the inconvenience

I love how bogan they made Pippa Black look. You know she's from Narre Warren. Then again, it makes sense how bogan they made her.
Ahaha that guy is hilarious. I WANT A GUP-TEE!!!
I also love Madhuri, but I hate Asha. But Todd is the sex!
-
Big Bang Theory is awesome, nothing seems to beat it.
-
Burn Notice, even though it has absolutely no relation to Scrubs.
-
SHERLOCK
SUITS
CHUCK (AVOID SEASON 5)
