So I was unsure whether to choose arts/comm @ monash or simply just comm @ melb, but was leaning more towards arts/comm and until like 3hours ago I was pretty sure I wanted to do arts/comm.. I still am but I wanted to leave the option of comm @ melb open. So stupidly I didn't put comm @ melb on my list AT ALL -____-" Because I thought that the order counted so there was no point when they made an offer. So my number 1 preference was arts/com @ monash.
So basically, is comm @ melb totally out of the picture as a potential choice due to my mistake of not putting it as a preference? If it is, I can live with it, but I just wanted to know :( Say if I have a major epiphany in the next few weeks and choose not to go to monash is there a chance I could swap into comm @ melbourne and get an offer if I'm above the clearly in, or is that just a nono?
Thanks!

Second round offers maybe?
I do think that we have the option of
putting extra courses & rearrange options
after jan 16th

Really? But for example, due to not me not putting in comm @ melb at all on my list does that mean that there's a lower chance I'll get accepted 'IF' i end up changing my mind? My heart is still set on arts/comm but I might change my mind. So basically, I wanted to know, Is there an 100% chance I'll get into commerce at melbourne if I end up really wanting it AND i'm above the clearly in AFTER already receiving my arts/comm placement at monash? tyty

Hard to say, but by the time
first round offers finish, there's not
a lot of places left for comm @ melb.
If it makes u a little bit happy, last year
there was an extra 23 students that got in
to commerce melb. after second round.

maybe try to get a hold of VTAC and contact them first thing in the morning and explain your situation? :S

EDIT: Can someone please help? What exactly does second round do for you? Say for example, I accept first offer and I want to do a course on the bottom of my list hypothetically, is there no guarantee i'd get in if it was 'full' or something? can someone explain how they work and all? thankss

IRREGULAR OFFERS!!!
1. after 1st round offers, you get the course...say arts/ comm @monash
2. a list comes out
3. go the the UoM commerce number, and call them up, ask if there are still spaces for you, even though you didn't put it down in your list.
4. send in formal application form.
5. PLAY THE WAITING GAME AND PRAY :)
i might be doing this too :D

for more clarification, just type in irregular offers vtac into google or something :D
hope that helps!
