Please, help me to decide which uni to go
No biased opinions!!!!
-
UNSW and Melbourne.
-
i dont know much about this, but i'll assume latrobe isn't much of a contender
-
No biased opinions please!
where should I go?
My atar is 98
-
if you live in victoria why not just stay here and go to melb or monash? I'd take melbourne :P
-
Melbourne, then UNSW.
-
This again?
Melbourne is your best option.
But should you live very close to Monash
(like me), take Monash.
-
but why is UNSW commerce clearly in so high compared to other uni? it's 97...
-
UNSW is very highly regarded for Commerce, even higher than USyd, which is like the equivalent to Unimelb here.
-
undergraduate?
Your pick, melb or monash, all the same shit
no need to move interstate just for bachelors, but if you're planning further then pick the ones internationally renowned for post-graduate studies.
-

Because it's really popular?
They've got to draw the line somewhere.
-
Objectively, UNSW then UMelb, and this is coming from someone that did BCom at UoM.
But yeah, I don't think the added costs of moving interstate are really worth it. Not for an undergrad degree in Australia anyway.

A mate who went to the Melbourne commerce open thingo, told me a representative said it is the 4 th ranked int he world for it.
-
If you live in VIC you're better off going to Melb/Monash, if you live in NSW you're better off going to UNSW.
While Melb is probably slightly better then Monash from what I've heard there really isn't a significant difference between the two.
-
u realise that ATAR scores for entrance is determined via supply/demand and how many spots they have available, doesnt necessarily mean UNSW is better than UoM or Monash or USyd. Coz if u were take that into consideration then wudnt u think that for example, Monash Law is better than ANU just because it has higher ATAR requirements? im pretty sure ANU law is as good as Monash if not better, its just coz not many ppl want to go there coz of its location (no offence).

4th in the world? I doubt it, there's plenty of schools in the US (Ivy league) and UK (Oxbridge) that would be a substantially better than UoM. Then again, they don't call it a BCom, usually it's BA majoring in something like Economics. But in the end, they result in the same jobs as what someone from a BCom could expect.
