Is there a possible path to get into Biomedicine or Dentistry WITHOUT having done any of the VCE sciences? If so, how much longer does it take in comparison to those who have done the prerequisites? Has anyone done this?

I believe the UNSW does not require any prereqs, but you will have to take up a few classes to catch up.

Looking at your subjects it would be simplest to drop economics and take up chemistry as that will satisfy many prerequisites for science and health related courses.

I'm not even sure OP can do that, isn't too late to change ur 3 / 4 subjects?
But if you're really desperate, i think once u go to uni, i think u can transfer
after first year uni having done some extra subjects (which would probably be chem)
which allows you to transfer.

Bio doesn't need 1+2 iirc

No I'm not thinking of switching or anything... it's too late already. I was just wondering if I had a change of mind to pursue other occupations somewhere mid of year 12 or even after year 12 then what I should do...
Is chem the only prereq? Does this mean that you'd have to do an extra year?

I've just ran into the same dilemma. I really want to study science at uni now but its to late to opt further for methods and legal for chem for pre-requisites. Is it possible to do elective units of chem and maths to be able to transfer into a science course.

I don't know if it's a restriction set by your school, but the VCAA census date for subject enrolments in sometime in March I believe. So you could still potentially change from Economics to Bio or Chem. Having done Bio, I can say that you should be fine without 1+2 knowledge, I had totally forgotten it but it was gone over in the first chapters really. Not sure about Chem though.
