I get how allocate+ works, but I'm not getting what this means.
For one of my core subjects, it looks like they're split into part 1 and part 2.
I don't get it, am I supposed to go to both parts (which is monday and tuesday) , if i get into my first pref?
Your current preferences:
1: Part 1: 01-P1, Mon, 09:00 2: Part 1: 02-P1, Wed, 09:00 3: Part 1: 03-P1, Thu, 13:00
Part 2: 01-P2, Tue, 15:00 Part 2: 02-P2, Thu, 14:00 Part 2: 03-P2, Thu, 15:00

Yes. There are three different streams (denoted by the first 01, 02 etc). You need to pick one of those streams, and then attend both P1 and P2 from it.

If the one lecturer takes all three streams, then if you want you can attend any of the P1's and 2's because they generally stop at the same slide between lectures (if its more convenient timetable wise)

This is true - quite often the case with Commerce as well I think.
Just be careful with streams like Law, the content and the pace are vastly different depending who the lecturer is - the Law faculty make the point that it's pretty useless going to a stream other than your own, as you'll be assessed by the lecturer of your stream.
