im having trouble finding a good topic for my oral. if anyone could give me a few ideas or websites, it would be a great help. thnxx!

What are you interested in? Do something that interests you, you will speak passionately then.
Last year, I went onto a tech forum and asked for some issues. I ended up speaking about anon and their crusades against PayPal, etc
Did pretty well, considering I am a terrible speaker

Haha that made me laugh. I go to a public school but have a lot of religious people in my class, it'll probably make a lot of people feel uncomfortable, annoyed and perhaps even angry if I decided to my oral on that. Goodluck to him though, very brave of him to attack religion in a religious environment.

I like this advice :) I did Wikileaks back in the day, something I was very interested in :)
There are many recent issues out there: QANTAS strikes, carbon tax, refugees/asylum seekers, pokie reform failure, etc.
If international ones are fine: the change in NK's "government", effects of some of the latest natural disasters, etc.

Depending on your school of course, but I'd say most schools would want a current and contentious issue, not something so broad :)
