So the files attached show what's wrong, does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix it?
It doesn't look much better using Firefox either
also, if it helps, when I'm on facebook, I can't type in any of the boxes and none of the drop boxes, or whatever you call them, 'drop'
-
Have you tried Safari?
-
I'd first clear internet cache, cookies, history, etc. If that fails I would try going into command prompt and flushing your DNS cache:
Start -> cmd (command prompt), type 'ipconfig /flushdns' (without the quotes) then try loading a page.
-
Depending on the browser if that doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling as a last resort or setting to factory settings (if their is that option available).
-
It's not just the browser, my task manager among other things are looking ridiculously whack as well
-
I think it's your graphics or RAM.
Try changing the resolution or refresh rate to a higher Mhz.
-
and how would I do that? lol
-
This sounds painfully obvious, but have you reset and rebooted your computer?
-
Is there anything else on your computer that isn't working/looking weird? If not, I doubt it's a graphics/RAM issue - that'd be a more global problem. Clearing cache and all that sort of thing is a good idea. From there, I'm not too sure. If it's solely affecting websites, I get the feeling that it's got to do with website scripting. Maybe reinstall Java code or something? I'm not too good with coding and such. Where's our CTO when we need him D: If something stuffs up, experience tells me reformatting generally tends to be faster than diagnosing and fixing the problem anyway. Up to you.

Yeah the task manager is all messed up too, I put up a picture of it in one of my posts up there^
and yeah I've turned the computer on and off a few times, still the same problem
-
Oh whoops, sorry didn't see your later post. Anything else look weird apart from that? But yeh, I'd try starting in safe mode and seeing whether the same problems pop up. Just restart your computer and hold F8 and it'll let you choose to go into it.
-
yeah I've already tried it in safe mode, same thing happened with the task manager, and safe mode with networking gives me the same problem with browsers
and nah it's not just the task manager, there are a load of other windows and programs that come up weird
-
Maybe a system restore will do the trick:

-
will that delete all my files/photos/documents etc?
EDIT:
dw it says I'll still have them
I'll try it out and let you know how it goes
thank you all for your help!

How did it go man?
