Okay guys, our cohort this year is going to be very weak.. the highest ATAR last year was 85 , so how will this effect my scores and how can I make sure that I don't get scaled down?
Thanks

Just make sure you're ranked first in SACs so that your cohort won't really affect you. No other definite method other than this as far as I'm aware really.

Although it is a pretty big ask, if you are top ranked in everything (SACs & Exam) your cohort won't affect you at all, as shinny said. If you don't manage to do this you will just have to hope that there is another capable student in that class who will pull through for you.
Make sure you set clear, manageable goals and put your best efforts in and you'll do fine. Also, don't be disappointed if you don't achieve what you wanted, there are plenty of differing pathways to get to the same position if you put effort in after secondary studies. Lastly, make sure you enjoy year 12 as well as studying hard!
