Hey AN.
I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on the order of exams I should do.
I have exams from most companies, so if anyone could give me tips, i would greatly appreciate it!:)
Like, should i do all the VCAA's first? Or the not as good companies like TSFX, TSSM.
And i know it's somewhere in this forum, but i can't seem to find it, so does anyone have a link/opinion on the hierarchy of exams? as in which one is better.
like VCAA>STAV>NEAP>etcetc?
THANKYOUSOMUCH

Do VCAAs closer towards your exam. Always start with company exams (TSFX gives some for free, your school should have some too). As for an order, this is mine (from what I remember of bio): VCAA (standard) > STAV > NEAP > TSFX (a bit outside the course) > Insight :)

What about A+ practice exams.

Thankyou so much rohit! :)

Stay away from TSSM (for biology anyway). Absolutely dreadful I found. My order would be the same as Rohitpi, but add in CSE before Insight IMO.

Do you guys know where to get practice exmas? My school hasn't started to give them out yet, and I just thought I should get a head start.

Haha, a bit early? The year has barely started!
Well, if you are SUPER keen, you could try TSFX ones, although I think you may have to join VCE edge: http://www.tsfx.com.au/vic/vcedgeonline/join.asp

I tried to stick by this principle, but couldnt really pull it off for all the exams: Do VCAA first, do VCAA twice. I think it would be unlikely that you completely remember the questions. Also do other exams in between.

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question.. but why do you have to do the practice exams in a particular order?

Edit: Oops, didn't realise this was in the Biology board, so sorry that my answer isn't biology specific and only based off the VCE subjects I've already done.
There's so many of them, it makes it easier to sort out which one your going to start off with.
Also, some companies have better quality exams, or more difficult exams, or more easier exams etc. so you'd probably want to decide if you want to do harder ones first or mix it up and have a variety etc. There are heaps of different reasoning to different orders, i.e. if you can master the more difficult exams first, then the VCAA ones will probably feel like a piece of cake etc. Or you could do the easy ones first to ensure you know the basics well, and then do the difficult ones closer to the exam so that you can work on weaknesses better etc.
Also, VCAA is obviously the most important, so it's up to you if you want to do those first (so you're familiar with what's expected) or if you want to do them last (so you know where you stand for the exam, last minute improvements based on exactly VCAA's style of questions etc.)
Personally, I prefer to do VCAA first, random mix of other practice exams and then VCAA again in the last couple of weeks.

I liked vcaa then stav (defs try to do all of these two) then tsfx then neap then cse/iarvt then lisachem then chemology the finally tssm if that helps :)

@Rohitpi
Thanks :)
I was actually planning to do them sometime near the end of the term1-term2 holidays. Is it possible to get 50 unit 3 bio exams?

What's wrong with Insight? :S

Oh woops i forgot about insight. They woud go after the neap ones imo but i didn't do a lot of them in general.
