Title: Physics Extended Practical Investigation
Post by: alx6395 on February 28, 2012, 10:16:25 pm
Hey guys,
I have a Physics EPI (Extended Practical Investigation) coming up and i am so lost as to what i should do for my experiment. The guidelines are that i have to have two independent variables and they must have a non linear relationship.
I would really appreciate it if you guys could give me some ideas, it would really help me

I'm planning to use dynamic carts and to calculate the frictional force they make agaisnt the surface.

I would also 0.500kgs as my constant mass.

what would you use to measure friction though?
Are you going to change the surfaces so that there would be different types of friction?

A tape measure, I can set the dynamic carts as far as I want to, but definitely somewhere under 100 cm or 1 metre.

Just any sorts tables will do.

Guys, this is a thread about EPIs, not a board for a private chat using real people's names. That's what PMs/fb/etc. are for. Back on topic please :)
