Title: Changing units
Post by: Devva[R] on March 06, 2012, 08:09:18 pm
Quick question, can I change and swap units around until 9th March without financial or academic penalty?
I wanna change ENG1061 for MTH1020 but I might end up with clashes and full classes so I might change back. Just wanna make sure before I start messing with my unit enrolments.

Also, if I can and I have clashes, who do I contact to deal with it?

Clashes: https://allocate.its.monash.edu.au/help/emailrequest.php

nobody in the FIT building will help you with that unless you put in a request through there.

Yes, you can change units around, I have re-enrolled about 7 times this sem to fix clashes up lol np

Also I heard FIT2003 is an approved substitute with ENG1061 which is a shitty subject, you might want to look into that.

If I change, I'll have to change my tutorial allocations, which would screw up this week. So for this week, I go to my current timetabled tutes and go to changed allocations starting next week?
Because some of the tutes have marked for attendence/compulsory, and rescheduling them would mean I miss this weeks tute(i.e i move a tute to monday, but Monday was yesterday).

go to yours this week if you will miss the one you will change to this week. then tell tutor that you have transferred with the old tutor's name/class etc; also make sure to xfer any marks if any.
