Title: Anyone from AN received an Achievement Scholarship?

They're given out to nearly every school in the western district, and I haven't really heard of anyone from my school receiving one, which is odd.
Are they hard to achieve? Or is it just that not many students know of/apply for it?

Hi buddy

I gained one of these scholarships and am currently in my first year.

From what I understand, the careers advisers (or some other equivalent) have a look at a few factors.
#1: Academic history throughout their VCE
#2: Any SEAS / Major disadvantages
#3: If VU is at the top of a person's preference list, or close enough to it

Have a talk to your career advisers if you have any specific questions. These factors may differ from school-to-school.
