Title: Mental Blank Seminars?
Post by: Eddiee on May 11, 2012, 11:20:19 pm
Forgive me for asking something you've probably heard a million times, but what's your opinion on it? I've read a lot of old posts about the organisation being a scam, but seeing as it's being advertised everywhere, I'm not really sure anymore  :-\

I also went to their seminar at the VCE and Careers Expo, but I couldn't really make a judgement based on what I saw. Are their seminars really useful, or are they just manipulating people into thinking that they need it?

These aren't mutually exclusive...

I tried them out for one of their $350 sessions and it was a complete and total waste of time and money. I would most certainly not recommend it AT ALL. Please please stay away from it!

Would you pay $4,997 for a supposed program before proper research as well as talking to people who have engaged in it, seems like they part with their money a little too easily?

Yes, I also laugh at people who make what are, in retrospect, bad decisions...

If sarcastic, I would like to add that bad decisions and stupid decisions are different things, well stupid decisions are a subset of bad decisions

I don't see how that changes anything...they made a decision and now feel they were misled and fooled. They definitely deserve to be laughed at for that >.<

He was defs sarcastic - but like, ok fine, you have a point, but I still reckon the fact that they put out $4,997 without proper research, experience and looking into the company just shows they are, to some extent, foolish and very easily misled. Not that they deserve to be laughed at - but it's still quite funny, just goes to show how easily some people part with their hard-earned money

People have too much money to throw around and waste these days. Seriously, $5000 just to make their kid do well in VCE? Bullshit. Just tell them to knuckle down and study like the rest of the students.

Couldn't agree more Hodgey - you're spot on the money - like sure, paying for tuition is OK, because some students need it - but paying $5000 for something you can just solve by analysing your own performance and knuckling down and studying is just complete nonsense
