Title: Context- How to introduce a personal anecdote into an expository piece

Hi guys, what other ways are there that allows me to introduce personal stories into my expository essay?
After talking about the idea, i just write: For example, i ... ( and talk about my personal story). This seems too basic, do you guys have other ways to do this?
