Title: Chinese SL 45+
Post by: lzxnl on June 04, 2012, 11:16:21 pm
So...I'm doing Chinese this year and I'm sitting on 47/50 for unit 3 SAC scores, which is equal top in my cohort. Assuming that my cohort is reasonably strong and that I can keep up the SAC scores, how many marks can I lose in the end of year written exam and still get a Study Score of 45+?

Hey there, these questions are very hard to answer and there is no definitive answer, especially for Chinese where the cutoffs are quite volatile each year. To get an idea of what you need to get for 45+ you can have a look at the previous years SS distributions yourself, http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/statistics/2011/section3/vce_lote_chinese_2nd_lang_ga11.pdf
