Title: Essentials vs. Math Quest
Post by: FlorianK on July 11, 2012, 09:27:21 pm
My class is using the Math Quest book for Methods. I have Essentials as a soft copy.

Should I print out Essentials and do those questions or do Math Quest?

Essentials for questions, Maths Quest for explanations, b^3's guide for CAS tips. That seems to be the general consensus around here :)

Yeah we use Maths Quest at school but I've done all the questions from Essentials and it's definitely helped. The Essentials explanations aren't so bad but they make more sense after you know what you're doing and help you expand on what you already know.

pick the harder questions from both - get more variety that way!
