Can someone explain (for the benefit of my brother) how the offers work.
If you get first round offer from RMIT can you wait for 2nd and 3rd round offers from other institutes and then change from your first round offer to your third round offer? Do you have to accept the first round offer and if you do will you will be able to get 2nd and 3rd round offers?

You should accept your first round offer.
You are still eligible for second round and third round offers, and you should notify the university of your first round offer that you are now accepting a second round offer (I'm not sure if that is done automatically), so that they can throw your place back into the pool for 3rd round offers :)

i thought if u accept first round, all other offers from 2nd and 3rd round are automatically rejected??
