Title: OFFICIAL RESULTS THREAD
Post by: ninwa on August 06, 2012, 08:40:32 am
Post your results here!

Any off-topic discussion other than a "congrats" or a "...and you said you would "only" get an A :P" will be removed (ie. Don't post here until Monday XD) :) Feel free to quote your comparisons with your predictions though :) Any bagging of other users, as per forum rules, will not be tolerated, as well as bragging, that's not on.

(shamelessly copy/pasted from Vegemite's other threads)

Possible, but you'd pretty much need an A+ on the end of year to be safe.

To people who are disappointed with their results, don't stay sad! Rather, take experience from this, move on and make it a source of motivation to score high results on end of year.

There's not much difference b/w 34-35 but A+ should secure it. Life not over. Yet.
Just kidding;)

Yes. You would need to get high A+'s for your SACs and the Unit 4 exam (GA 2 and GA 3).

wow to everyone getting A+ congrats!
can someone predict my study score?
unit 3 sacs were 93 which is a low A+
mid year exam B+
hoping unit 4 sacs are the same as unit 3
hoping for an A at the end of the year exam
ranking 3 to 5 in a medium cohort of 20

what study score do you guys think i will get???
feel free to use your friends examples or your own.

I'd say that an A is an amazing result and shows the work you put in.  I didn't receive an A on any of my exams and still got over 90. There are a few Aners on here, like Golden who got an A and in the end of year got A+ whilst receiving a study score in the 40s. I think you'll score well and this is your first 3/4!

Don't dwell on your Unit 3 exam result too much regardless of whether it was lower or higher than your expectations. If your mark was what you had hoped, well done and don't slack off. If you got lower than what you had expected, work hard and learn from your mistakes. Persistence will pay off. There is still a lot that can change from here to the Unit 4 exam, so don't take anything for granted.

Home, you can tell your high/low from the SoM and the grade distributions

So you can only tell if you fill out those applications ? Is it worth it?

Hi all,

Absolutely distraught with my A. Worst result of accounting... ever. How do we find out what our results were ie. out of 90? Is it through a statement of marks?

Completely choked during the exam. I was so nervous, my entire body was shaking violently - felt like I threw all my knowledge out the window. Weird how a physical variable could strip me of an expected A+.

What mark out of 90 would I need for the end of year exam to make at least a 40?
