Hi,
First post, I'm just interested as to what sort of study score I could be looking at for English based on the following marks.
UNIT 3
20/20 (Oral)
18/20 (Language Analysis)
28/30 (Context)
29/30 (Text Response)
95/100 all up.
UNIT 4 aims
48/50 (Context)
47-48/50 (Text Response)
EXAM aims
At least 9/10 or 18/20 (Context)
9/10 or 18/20 (Language Analysis)
At least 9/10 or 18/20 (Text Response)
I know that I'm near the top of my cohort, in at least the top 5-10 out of around 110 students, but am not sure how well my school performs in English across the whole cohort.
Any predictions would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks

I think you are looking at least 47+

My SACs and exam scores were similar although I was rank 1 in SACs. For you I'd say roughly 45-47.
-
What about for me:
Unit 3 SACs - 88/100...bad oral.
Unit 4 SACs (Aim) - 94/100
Exam (aim) - 9/10 for all three sections.

Thanks, I'd be completely satisfied with 45 or above!

Bump! Anyone....please?

It really depends on your rank & your cohort not individual marks. With that been said, I'd say you're looking at 40-44. I suggest you have a play with Mao's guesstimator... if you really want to know.

Thanks! Oh and I'm ranked in the top 10 say about 6-7 does that help?

Say I got B average for unit 3 then a B+ average for unit 4 what would I need on the exam for a 35 RAW? is it possible? thanks in advance

Did you read this thread before posting? We need the rank within the cohort for SACs as opposed to scores. Assuming your scaled GA1 and 2 was B and B+ respectively, you'd probably want to get two eights and a seven on the exam for an A+ and 35 raw. However it is 5am and I haven't slept so anyone feel free to correct me.
