I know that feel, bro.
There are some great notes on this site, definitely worth a read (or many). Read the afterword, read any summaries or notes you can find on Google (if you can't find any, search harder). Otherwise re-read key sections and beast essays from your peers (or the whole book if you're a super fast reader* in addition to AN notes to reinforce the good bits).

Edit: VivaT said this in another post, you'd do well to take his advice
How I did it:

- Read the book once before we began studying it
- Looked up summaries on the net
- Skimmed through study guides
- Paid attention to class discussion
- Looked up character profiles on the net
- Re-read a few parts of the book
- Read a few critical analyses of the text closer to the SAC
- Researched a bit on the religion

How you should do it:
- Same as above, except with reading the book more and knowing it better

I did reasonably well, but I could have actually spent much more of my time studying English, and studying effectively at that.

I've have read the book once and I found the language difficult to understand and I find it very boring, I guess I can look through summaries and character analysis haha

That was on my first sac in this year. I bought study guides on the internet and went through them. They are helpful. Yet I'm not going to write about YOW in the exam.

Yeah probs about all you can/want to do then.

I'm 100% not writing on YoW in the exam. I'm just concerned with keeping my ranking relatively high and then I'm never touching a YoW essay again.
