Title: Last Biology Sac - QUESTIONS
Post by: spherelin on October 08, 2012, 12:34:56 pm
Hey everyone,
for those of you who have completed the last biology sac on applications of gene technology and all that, what was it like?
Did you have to write up an argumentative piece?
Mine's this week, and so far I have no clue as to what format it's like.
Apparently I have to know about genetic drift too, which doesn't really fit in with the pos/negs of cloning and all that. :S
Clarifications please?

For applications of gene tech, you need to know different tools and technique, how they work
At my school, we did last term already and the questions are about naming enzymes and explanation of probes, southern blotting, etc,..
Genetic drift is in evolution (AOS2) right? Why does your school test about that in gene tech SAC? :O

I think she means the human intervention on evolution SAC.

Yeah :P haha i'm talking about the human intervention sac! I think we're going to do something along the lines of a poster too. Hopefully it won't be anything radical :) thanks guys
