Title: Donatar- Donate your ATAR
Post by: thetimeis on November 19, 2012, 11:41:19 pm
Not sure if ATARnotes has come across this, but thought I would bring this to some user's attention.

Urge you guys to read this and spread the word, it's a good initiative and one that puts a bit of meaning into the final score. Not sure if this is posted in the right section so mods feel free to move this.

Statistically speaking, donating the ATAR is rather boring.

Donating the sum of all study scores over 40 will give a much more interesting separation of donation values.

But then I'll get to donate $0 :(

How do you automatically assume this?

I'd do something different. I'd love to donate my time instead. I think it would have a great amount of value. Some charities I've seen really struggle with man power so they could really benefit with volunteer work.

I'll donate my aggregate score as minutes of time or something :)
