It the correct systematic name 2-pentene-2,4-methyl?
The substituents should be prefixes and come first. You should also specify the number of methyl groups within the name.
So, the correct name would be 2,4-dimethyl-2-pentene.
Alternately, for alkenes, you can specify the location of the double bond with an infix rather than a prefix.
Hence, we could also have said 2,4-dimethylpent-2-ene.
