Title: One Step Education
Post by: gooeyc on December 29, 2012, 12:37:33 am
I have currently completed Year 12, and I would like to recommend One Step Education to next year's batch of VCE kids.
This company tutored me throughout all of Year 12 in both English and Chemistry, and without them, I would have not even gotten close to scoring what I managed. Just thought I'd acknowledge them and thank them for helping me throughout this year, and certainly encourage all future VCE kids to get on board  :D

Slightly obvious conflict of interest going on here lol... I mean you'd do much better advertising if you just outright boasted your own awesome scores rather than try to be sneaky about it >_>

Just for the record, I really wanted to embed the scene of Good Will Hunting where Benny A stands up and says "You're suspect!" but couldn't get the video to go to the point in the scene I wanted :(

Ok guys this isn't a troll post. I'm also working with one step education and we have a very large database of tutors.

All our tutors have achieved very high ATAR scores in the past few years and are more than qualified to tutor.

Because of this, we can cater for a wide range of subjects.

If you have any questions feel free to contact the above number or visit the website.

Sorry if the first post was a bit misleading but we are certainly not a bogus company and we will work hard to ensure our students achieve the very best results.

Look, we appreciate OP making their affiliations clear in their profile, but you have to realise how dodgy you make yourselves look when your own staff member goes on about how the company made them do well -_- Marketing 101

Hey guys, just here to back up Jabbok.

One Step Education is a legitimate company. I'm working with them this year and we're working on developing the company. Please don't misunderstand. We sincerely apologise for what may have offended some people.

Packages (Term/Semester/Annual Packages)
Private Tuition (Term Basis / 10 sessions)
$475 for 10 sessions
Private Tuition (Semester Basis / 20 sessions)
$900 for 20 sessions
Private Tuition (Annual Basis / 40 sessions)
$1800 for 40 sessions

Woah, I thought I was charging a lot by doing $35. Must be a pretty good company with an awesome amount of resources.

Oh, the 'I checked it out' was for the deregistered company argonaut pointed out. As for gooeyc, she received tuition from our tutors this year, then became a tutor for us - simply because she performed well and knows her stuff. I think you know her, thush. But yes, sorry, it's a legit company. We're not a bunch of scammers. I think thush knows me well enough to back me up here. Sorry again!

And you're right EmilyGot50, we're simply a tutoring agency offering both private tutoring and group tuition with a carefully selected bunch of tutors.

I think you guys need to take a few more steps to ensure you don't come across on the wrong foot.

On another note, LOL.

Yup, I've got your back, so long as you are genuine. Just make sure you don't come across as being scammers, that's all.

Just a heads up: a friend has informed me that One Step Education has been listing a few people on their tutoring page who never actually agreed to work with them.  Again, not necessarily damning, but the credibility of this organisation seems...

EZ - no - they agreed at first, then pulled out. Those names have been removed from the website.

Right after it was pointed out that those names don't belong there. That was good of them.
