Over the next couple of weeks, I'll be posting part of my resources that I had for Chinese. Aside from all the "OMG! A NON-SPEAKER PWNT AN ASIAN KID IN CHINESE!!!!" puns, I'll be dishing out advice in this thread on how to succeed in the subject as well as listening and Detailed Study resources.
Until then, stay tuned. I need a decent internet connection first to upload stuph.

Ni hao, wo de peng you.
All of mel's resources are in hard copy format, and I don't think they'll be particularly useful. And also, my chinese teacher told us not to share her things even with our mates from the other campus and I respect that, so umm yeah.
*stays tuned*

Haha I was thinking of starting a thread like that for Chinese Second Language (Advanced) [aka SLA] but I don't think anyone here is doing it next year. I suppose I can help with giving some tips and things if you want =) I won't give out my detailed study stuff (don't want my topic to bore the examiners so many times as I'm probably passing it on to my siblings) but I won't mind if someone wants a copy of my general conversation questions and answers (you have to note it's for SLA though, so it would be a slightly higher degree than normal Chinese second language). Just PM me. Too lazy to upload >.<

Mine are all hard copy too. I'll be scanning them.
But I have a listening exercise that could be useful.
The VSL doesn't have a strong track record of 40+ raws in Chinese SL. But, they have a strong track record of scaling to over 40, so I suppose that'll have to do.

Haha my chinese school has a strong track of getting the best VCE chinese scores but they take back everything they let us do so I don't have a copy of them >.<

OMG kingmar where have you gone?

I think the most appropriate thing to say is "gone perma-AFK."
Too lazy may be a more apt, but there it is.
I've kind of withdrawn from the VCENotes arena, there's a lot of university stuff that takes priority and I can't say I care much about VCE anymore since I put it to sleep with a hypodermic dart filled with poison scaling.
I'll leave the legacy posts above as-is, however do note that I was tutored in my VCE by my aunt, who so happens to also teach HSC Chinese at year 12 level, and I've given them away to her as they're far more use to her than me.
So there are no notes any longer, and I do apologise. But you can pester caramel, she managed to out-do me in Chinese and that speaks louder than words... or so I hope.

Please don't pester me, I am literally non background, and as my VCE Chinese teacher would say, 'my bucket has a very big hole in it', ie half my knowledge has leaked out as my only real use of it now is occasionally on IRC :P
To be honest, if you do chinese you probably know more than me at this moment.
Plus, I do not intend to share my teacher's resources as per her request
