Anyone doing the play Cosi?
Hope there's a bunch of you for support haha

I'm also doing it :) Not a fan of it though. A little interesting, but maybe if I read it again, it might seem better.
-
YESSS! has anyone read it? :o

I think my teacher said it was slightly different. My teacher always tells me to avoid watching the movie remake of a book because when it comes to SAC's you might get confused and all.

I think Cosi is a play yeah? If it is, I would recommend a film viewing, it can assist well with your understanding. Read the play twice before hand so you don't get confused. Unless you're heavy on theatre/plays you can often miss underlying things. Only people who don't care would get confused because they would watch the movie once and read the play once and then not be able to differentiate. Twelve Angry Men was almost an identical movie with subtle differences, I still never got confused.

I just didn't want to take the risk, I was just echoing my teachers words. :) We had a theatre group perform the whole play for us when we were doing Cosi too. It was a lot better than reading the book for sure.

oh yeah don't even worry about the movie if you've seen it live. It just helped to view it.

Yeah I'm not gonna bother, it was awesome to watch.

I thought they were getting rid of Cosi. I did it this year and I hated it. You don't even need to read it if you are going to watch the play. I did so well on my cosi sac (it was my second best SAC score) but I hadn't read it (cover to cover anyway, I skimmed through it).

I'm doing Cosi also! I've read it one so far, and I'll re-read it during the holidays.

I did that book, hated it and hence neglected it for the exam. Hope your second book is mucher better, like in my case

I did it in 2012, and made a set of notes! But I can't type them up and upload them until I get back to Australia in mid-Feb. I didn't like (hated) the text when we were reading it as a class, but I really enjoyed writing responses and analysing the text. Also, reading Mozart's libretto - 'Cosi Fan Tutte' - was fun, as I was also studying Italian.
