Title: Scaling

Title is self-explanatory-obviously some subjects are harder and as such would be harder to gain a H1.  Is there some sort of scaling at Uni?

No. Some subjects may bell curve internal marks but subjects aren't compared to other subjects in difficulty for grading purposes.
