I'm in Year 11 this year and I'm doing two 3/4 subjects, Bio and Methods. I probably sound like a bit of klutz but is it all clear for me to do a uni enhancement program (whether that be in monash or melbourne) in Year 12 when I'm only doing four 3/4 subjects (because I've already done two in year 11)?
It would greatly appreciated, heaps thanks and muchos love if someone can answer!

yes, i'm doing four 3/4s and i only did 1 in year 11.

haha, alright :) heaps thanks!
when you did your uni study, how did you manage it on top of your 3/4s? i feel like it might kick me in the face.
-
you're in a really good position with 4 3/4's!
The norm is doing 5 3/4's and then a Uni Enhancement on top of that!
And don't worry, haha considering that you're doing 2 3/4's this year, I don't think you'll find it hard to manage at all :)
Btw's what uni subject are you thinking of doing?
-
I'm doing just that right now. You'll get a lot more time to focus on your subjects.

You really think so? Aww, that's heaps great then because I was stressing out and everything, haha oh dear me :")
I'm thinking of doing Biology or Maths :) What do you think?
-
Oh! Haha, well personally those two subjects are on opposite ends of my radar. I hate Biology, and I love Maths.
But I would recommend Maths cos from what I've heard it's easier to score in! At the end of the day, it's whichever you enjoy the most :)
I'm doing Maths, and it's quite an interesting course!

Haha, well then :") By interesting, like ermahgerd-the-concepts-are-crazy interesting or by well-i've-never-seen-this interesting? I love Maths but I'm not particularly good at it.

hahaha! a bit of both actually :P
more CRAAAAZYYYY THOUGH!
-
I'm doing four plus MUEP! :) At the orientation day it seemed like almost everyone was doing that!
-
I'm only doing three VCE subjects this year :P

I'm doing uni psych this year! :) I did 2 subjects last year too! Bio and psych ! :) I was having trouble deciding which one i would do , because I love both of them! :) ( I miss bio so much this year! :( ) psych was the better option because I could do it online! :)
One of my friends is doing biol and if you want to talk to her about it, feel free to pm me! :)

haha TRUST me it's okay. I did methods and physics last year, this year only doing 3 subjects in school: English, Spesh and Chem, and Indonesian SL on Saturdays. I have more free periods than classes a week :D
AND unimaths is pretty chill. I enrolled in unimaths at both melb and monash, officially dropped the monash one but still going and doing the assignments there. Also I have no homework (school or uni) the majority of nights.
My point? DO IT! :D You'll have a lottt of time in year 12 and there is SO little homework from unimaths, maybe an hour max a week.
But its up to you, wish you all the best with your studies!

Wow! Are you able to enroll in both and do both?
And do many people do that?

haha nah mate. Only 3 maths count overall, so there's no point doing both since I got methods and spesh already. You can enrol in both, it's just the monash uni one cost $450 per semester while the melb one is free. That said, I am doing both just coz I have so much time on my hands. But the monash uni one won't contribute towards my atar.
Erm... I don't know anyone who has done this before. It's pretty rare as you can imagine. I only know of a friend doing uni chem who attended the uni physics lectures too just for interest. This was because she goes to jmss, so its just a short walk away from her school. She never applied for uni physics tho, just goes along with friends doing uni physics.
So not many do two uni extensions haha
