How did everyone go.
Personally: I went terrible, only noticed the AAS question with 5 minutes remaining
-
I went really well! i was 2 out of 36 in my class to complete the exam, and i didnt even study all weekend!
-
Finished all except the number of double bonds in myrcene. Thought I did well until I saw some answers :(
Too much reading and I did horrible *sigh* Oh well. Maybe C?
-
double bonds was 3, you had to use n(C10H22)-N(H2) to find the EF of mycine and from there u use a ratio to find C=C:H
-
most convincingly the longest and one of the hardest exams I have ever done in my entire schooling. I just finished the exam with about 1 minute to go lol. Thank god its all over.
-
MAN THAT WAS SOOOOO HARD COMPARED TO LAST YEARS ONE BY A MILE!!!! >:(
-
SHIT.
I wrote 3 for the double bond question but it was a complete guess :P I didn't show any working or anything.. I'm guessing I'd get no marks for that though yeah?
-
hahaha i fucked up :)

nahh you get one mark for the answer, its not like maths where you have to show working out in order to get both marks.
-
OMG guys..i totally screwed it.. i didnt even get time to check my answers :(
i hope i get at least B+ or B :( :( really worried atm.
-
does anyone know what % they had to get last year to get an A+ ? i worked out my answers think i might have got around 86%.. what will that give me?

Yeah, I was in the middle of doing that when I got told pens down. Gah
-
holy shit man.....everyone in my class including my teacher said that 10 short answer was nuts....hardest exam ever><
Psych was piss easy though
-
omfg why was it worth so little for so many qns...that thing was way too long
-
omfg why was it worth so little for so many qns...that thing was way too long
yeah some 'explain' questions were only worth one mark.. which is the same as a multiple choice answer.. how gay

Only positive is I don't think they'll be too harsh in giving away that one mark, say you missed a little detail, I don't think they would take away the whole mark
-
just like my sig, i failed miserably YAYAYAYAYAYYAY! FUCK YOU CHEM! FUCK YOU IN THE ANUS!

I don't do chem, but im pretty sure I heard that last year's A cut off was 75%...?
I'm guessing if this years was harder than it would be less, but yeah, like i said, I'm not sure.
EDIT: and also a C was 55%.
But again, these statistics may or may not be correct.

High-scoring performances on this examination, which was the first under the new study design, were as strong as in the final years of the previous study design. A score of approximately 87 per cent was needed to achieve an A+ and approximately 80 per cent was needed to receive an A. The mean score for this examination was 58.3 per cent, compared to 58.9 per cent in 2007. The mean score corresponded to a grade of a high C+.
The above paragraph is from last year's assessment report, which can be found here.

I hate to break it to you, but a "UG" is below an E. However, we can all lighten up now. The exams have finished and until our marks and the graded distributions come out, we can still put a smile on our face and be optimistic about Unit 4. :D
Don't worry, if you've read my other posts, I feel your pain as well.

last years cut off for A was 80% and A+ was 88%
