Title: TSFX OR TSSM Methods ?
Post by: ngRISING on June 10, 2009, 04:36:30 pm
hii, i just need some advice on a maths methods tutor.

i was wondering which of of the two is better for a maths methods. I am fairly behind at school in terms of maths methods, i average 60% in SACs which is terrible. I am one of those people who don't really think outside the square and screw up worded questions or those ones that look disgusting.

I use to go to jacks but i find that i don't really benefit much as i have bad memory. So i was wondering which of the 2 i should attend or a private tutor?

many thanks in advance.

I went to TSFX methods in year 11 and still failed exams. I also went to Jack's for a lesson or 2 and didn't think it helped. I think for Methods it could be just about how much study you do, combined with natural ability.

mainly study... to be honest i was never the best at math, but with persistence, one can achieve what ever they wish. Also another factor which helps is the quality of the questions you do. Unfortunately, this did not help in today's chem exam :(
