Title: Practical Reports
Post by: Yacoubb on February 15, 2013, 11:43:08 pm
I have a few questions:

(1) in the observations section of the prac report, do you interpret the results, or do you merely state the experimental observations in qualitative form?!

you state them with a small explantion then you finish interpretating the results in the discussion.

Could be both qualitative and quantitative. All the elaborating happens in the discussion section (keeping in mind that discussion questions are usually worth the most marks). Check the marking scheme, of the observations sections is worth two marks, there should be at least two particular observations you should be noting. Mention what is is, and why it happened, but explain HOW in the discussion.

Goodluck with your studies!
