Title: Positive reinforcement.
Post by: Edward21 on February 16, 2013, 10:49:49 am
Ok, so I've been looking into UMAT style questions, especially section 3 because I find them the hardest. Is it normal to feel, even a tad overwhelmed by the UMAT at this point. Is it normal to sort of, approach this type of study differently? With a different mindset, rather than the normal one we've developed for VCE subjects? It just feels like a whole different ball court here, am I alone out here with feeling overwhelmed by the demands of the UMAT?  ???

It is different, no doubt about that. What you are feeling is fairly commonplace and it's only early says yet. Best way to study (especially for section three) is to firstly do as many questions as possible under time and secondly make sure you understand your mistakes. That will help you develop your own technique.
