Title: Eng Linguistic Analytical essay

So I have my first Eng Lang Sac for U1/2 coming up but i have to complete a prac sac of an analytical essay, however i have hardly any idea how to structure it and what to focus on.

Any help guys?

Hi Fuze,
Pretty much it's like any english essay in structure. Make sure you have three main ideas for the body, topic sentences etc. The only difference should be the examples in the sense that they are metalang relevant then backed up by specific examples. I'd also suggest a revision of the content before you start writing them - all too often essays I've read through are lacking in content and thus relevance. Hope this helps and good luck :)
