Title: Finance 1 Recorded?
Post by: Hancock on February 21, 2013, 12:22:37 am: Does anyone (preferably Commerce students) know if Finance 1 is recorded on Lectopia? Honestly, 1 8am lecture for finance and one 9am lecture for Eng Maths on Tues and Thursday isn't really making me want to come into uni.

Also, they should record every single lecture if the lecture theatre has the equipment to do so. It's freaking ridiculous. Who gives a fuck if students don't turn up to lectures, if they decide not to turn up and not to watch it online then they can fail. It seriously sucks for students who have like 1 or 2 lectures on 1 day and have to travel far to get there, have other commitments or just miss out due to a medical appointment or whatever. Fucking bullshit. /end rant

I know for a fact that they are recorded so I may just do that because they are pretty late.

Post by: jeppikah on February 28, 2013, 01:42:25 am: Like people said, they were recorded for semester 1 last year but not semester 2, which was really annoying for me because I wasn't gonna spend 2 hours travel time for 1 lecture. But a friend of mine who did it in semester 1 was an absolute legend to have downloaded every single lecture from every subject he took, including Finance in semester 1. So us Biomed kids survived on that, although I know a few people that had the recordings but never bothered to listen to them anyway.

Anyway, judging by your 1st year scores, you'll breeze through Finance whether you go to the lectures or not.
