Title: Home Study
Post by: happydays on February 28, 2013, 10:10:16 pm
Hello everyone. I was just wondering what's the best way to divide your time between all your subjects? I have been finding it tricky to give equal study time to all my subjects and 'neglecting' others and only realising it when I have that class.

How many hours/minutes per subject each day for home study??

I'm new to this & any help at all will be really appreciated
:)

Put simply, you don't need to put in equal study time. Prioritise based on what you need to work on, what homework you have, your upcoming SACs, etc.

I like to get my homework for the night (set tasks that require to be done, set by teachers) and set some time to do it, say 2 hours.
I leave that 2 hours before bed time. Do extra study (check points, exams, blah blah) after school until 2 hours before bed time. This ensures me doing that extra stuff. As I do homework before bed, because it is required of me to do it otherwise I will be fed to the lion, I will do it before bed.

Downside is, you are tired and don't give a crap by homework time comes.

This has the potential to backfire if you underestimate how long it will take you to complete your homework...
