Title: iodine
Post by: forchina on March 05, 2013, 07:51:17 pm
just did the dialysis tubing with starch (and glucose). for starch we used iodine as an indicator. When talking about water + iodine diffusing into the dialysis tube are you meant  to say iodine solution together or do you talk about the iodine (which I think are ions, is that right?) and water molecules separately?

I did this prac..I'm pretty sure I said the iodine solution moved into the dialysis tube containing starch. A solution is made up of water and the molecules so talk about them collectively.
