I made some mistakes i want to fix. can i just go to submit assignment and will it over write the old one?

Probably. Just go on the assignment tool in the LMS and click "submit" again. I know it works for Finance 1. Chill bro.

Also if an assignment is due at 4PM they technically give you a 1 hour leeway because of the potential that a lot of people submit all at once (at least for Finance 1) or other related issues.

There is no need to mention this if you're talking about assignment 1 for Finance 1. Unless they have explicitly mentioned so on the instructions sheet.
