I guess it was for his take-home SAC and he didn't want anyone from his school to see him asking for help here.

:P

Lol, one of my friends always comes on here and steals SAC answers.

That's not in the spirit of what VCENotes is about. Nobody is here to do your SACs for you, rather we are here to help each other understand questions and concepts better.
If everyone wanted to hide their questions from everyone else...sites such as VN wouldn't exist. We'd all be selfishly guarding our own knowledge.

wrong, some people are lazy and they would just come on here to steal the answers and working out for their SACs (Such as someone I know who does this).

That would be plain cheating.

And coming here, posting a question, getting others to answer it for you, and then hiding it so nobody else can see, isn't?

No, there is a difference between getting help and cheating.

To get help is to understand how to do the question and understand the concepts behind it. I am sure gdogga understands how to do the question and if he was asked how to do it again, he would be able to do it with no help.

Where as cheating is just copying the working out and not understanding how to do the question. If he/she was asked to redo the question, they would not be able to. This is what someone who goes to my school does on VN. That is cheating.

Who do you think it is? You gave him the site to cheat for his chem SAC.

You are not baffled, you helped a cheater hence you are guilty.

Not like you didn't also cheat

I don't think introducing a friend to VN counts as cheating

How did I cheat? I explained the difference of getting help and cheating above. Or are you blind you can't see?

Well you should know from experience that this "friend" is a frequent cheater in real life.

I don't why you'd want to have this conversation over VN in the first place, but take it to MSN or real life if you must.

Update:

gdogga has been banned (placed in sinbin). Fair punishment for cheating.

/0 and Over9000, please resolve your issues in a private manner, this does not need to be broadcasted in public. And I believe you will report this alleged member to proper authority if your moral judgement deems it appropriate.

Fellow helpers, I hope this kind of situations can be avoided in the future. I suggest for questions of a suspicious source, give a concise answer, or give a detailed description of the methods rather than giving the answer away.

Topic locked.

EDIT: Just saw the other thread, there really wasn't any giveaways to point out it was a SAC question. So much for being silly and saying that in public.
